Grandkids show great at SRMHC Blackfoot, ID Show

Brody, Jana, and Daphne had a great show this past weekend in Blackfoot, ID, where Brody showed for his 1st time ever and did terrific. Brody's showing culminated in driving CH Texas Ranger in the Youth Classic Country Pleasure Driving class and winning, just before I drove the pony in the Stakes class and won that too under all 3 judges.

Jana and Daphne each showed execllent as well, in several classes each, for their 2nd time to ever show. We received so many comments that CH Princess Diana was so good for little 6 year old Daphne as she handled the pony so well through halter obstacle, halter, showmanship, leadline, and costume classes. We had actually been letting Daphne get some experience showing the pony in preparation to sell the pony to an interested buyer at their 1st show ever a few weeks before, but she did so well with her and fell in love with the pony so we promised her she could keep the pony if she showed her best!

In their youth halter class, Jana and Daphne showed agaist each other plus 2 other youth/ponies in a class of 4. Daphne won a 1st place and Jana 2nd under one of the judges. Now Jana and Daphne both are excited and want to take the ponies to Congress to show them in their newly developing skills and love of the ponies.
