2014 Trail Ride & Parade

We just drove our pony pair, Channie/Ellie, in the Valley Lodge Trail Ride (VLTRA), culminating in the downtown Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Parade for our 4th annual drive. We drove the ponies pulling our carriage loaded with Papa and Meme, plus different grandkids and their parents every day for a total of about 60 miles from Feb. 26 - March 1, 2014 from Fulshear, TX to downtown Houston, TX. We drove through harsh freezing weather and rain, as well as beautiful sunshine as we helped celebrate and commemerate a 55 year VLTRA tradition of kicking off the annual Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
